Flowers are the epitome of beauty and grace. Their natural attractiveness is a source of delight for both the eyes and the soul. They enhance our everyday lives with beauty and pleasure.  People are naturally drawn to the graceful symmetry, vibrant colors and pleasing fragrances of flowers. They have revered the beauty of flowers for generations. Thousands of lines have been penned down by poets and writers in praise of their qualities.

Eminent author Ralph Waldo Emerson noted that “the earth laughs in flowers,” and William Shakespeare described natural beauty with flowers in his play “A Midsummer Night's Dream” - “I know a bank where the wild thyme blows, Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows, Quite overcanopied with luscious woodbine, With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine.

Apart from their aesthetic appeal, flowers are also useful for the environment. They are natural air purifiers and they remove carbon dioxide and toxins from the air. Flowers also serve as a source of nourishment for many animals. Human beings too have used them in cooking and they also play a great importance in human traditions and culture. People have used flowers as a means of communication and most life events like birth, marriage and death have always been marked with flowers.

They are also integral to many festivals and social occasions which make them ideal gift items. A bouquet of flowers is welcome on any occasion and people send flowers all the time.
